A 500-g aluminum block is heated to 350°C. How many grams of ice at 0°C will the aluminum block melt on cooling?

okay sorry i cant answer them all but for the Energy absorbed by ice as it melts is as follows:
When the ice changes from ice to water it is changing state, so it absorbs a certain amount of energy without a change in temperature.
The specific latent heat of fusion is the amount of energy need to change a solid to a liquid in this case ice, which specific latent heat of fusion value (apparently) is 3.3 x 10 to the 5.
So heat energy need(joules) = mass x specific latent heat of fusion
Thus: J= (1.5)(3.3x10 to the 5)
Joules = 495 000 (calculation cud be wrong because i don't have a proper calculator)
