For those that believe illegal aliens shouldnt be treated for free?
If you have a patient bleeding out in the emergency room, do you stop and check for proof of citizenship before treating him? Same goes for anything life treatening of a time sensitive manner (heart attacks). I keep seeing posts angry over aliens being treated free in emergency rooms, but if your grandfather collapses during a walk in the park, forgot to bring his wallet and is rushed to the ER, should they treat him or not? Just curious as to where this came from and what the parameters are.

In cases where someone's life is in danger, I'm in favor of treating them to the point of stabilizing them. We all know that illegals clog the ERs with inconsequential matters, though. Unless he is bleeding out or suffering a cataclysmic seizure of some sort, the ER should be not just allowed, but required to turn them away.
