Quality Laboratory Equipment

I used to have my skates sharpened by the old equipment manager from the LA kings, and after trying the FBV at my local shop, I switched immediately. I play AAA hockey, so I am on the ice 5 times a week at a high level. I still get my skates sharpened every couple weeks or so, but haven't noticed a problem losing edges. I did notice a much better glide the first time I tried it, and don't want to go back to the old cut.

Worst case is you try it, don't feel comfortable, and go back to the old cut.
